Thank You

Zoom recently announced that it will lift its 40-minute time limit for meetings this Thanksgiving. If your Thanksgiving will involve a virtual celebration this year, remember these tips to keep your online gathering private and safe:

  • Make sure your video teleconferencing account is protected with a strong and unique password.
  • Password-protect the meeting itself and do not share the link publicly (or even on your private social media page). This will should keep the gathering to invited guests only.
  • When it’s over, cover your webcam. Hackers have been known to remotely access webcams to see and record inside of people’s homes. A piece of tape is a simple and effective security measure.

All of us at Cyber Safe Workforce send our warmest wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving to our clients, friends, and family. We are incredibly thankful to know and serve each and every one of you.
